In recent years, there has been a nice
tendency of continuous, fast and health development in economy,
science and technology, culture and education in Tibet. GDP
has been increasing at an average rate of 12.9% for six continuous
years. In 1999, the GDP exceeded ten billion yuan, which was
a historical rise of profound significance. With the starting
of "western development", Tibet has entered the new
era of the construction of modernization and is going to realize
the great blue print of the leaping development. Further opening
to the outside world is our firm determination. "Tibet
Guide" is the window website of Tibet, aimed at introducing
Tibet, building bridge for communication, providing information
service and sharing resources. We sincerely wish that "Tibet
Guide" will provide the users with quality service, and
become the stage and window to display the features of Tibet,
connecting Tibet and the rest of the world, and contributing
to the development of all trades in Tibet and its communication
with foreign countries. |
