of the project is in the mid and lower reaches of Yarlongzhangbu river with a
peculiar climate. The Chinese prickly ash growing there is anaesthetic and fragrant
in taste, it is good in quality without any pollution, belonging to high-class
species. There are a lot of waste-hills and wasteland with huge areas, which can
be used for production of Chinese prickly ash. As the market investigation shows,
200,000 kilograms (400,000 jin) of Chinese prickly ash is estimated to be consumed
in Tibet. The Chinese prickly ash produced in Miling and Lang counties will
definitely occupy the local markets in Tibet by its excellent quality and cheap
price, in addition, it can actively participate into domestic and international
market competition as well. Scale of construction: An area of 10,000
mu is planned for plantation with a yearly output of 495,000 kilograms (990,000
jin). Budgetary estimate of investment: The total investment will
be 521,000 USD. Preliminary preparation of project: The feasibility
report has been made. Anticipated benefit: The total annual income
